Welcome,
The Indiana First Jurisdiction Church of God in Christ Youth Camp welcomes
you. The Youth Camp welcomes youth from the ages of 11 to 18 this includes the current year's graduating High School
seniors.
Early in 1990 the late Jurisdictional Bishop Milton L. Hall recognized the need for
an opportunity for his predominantly urban membership to receive bible based interaction, reflection and positive nurturing.
Bishop Mark H. Blade contnues to support position action and is fully comitted
to providing the youth with direction.
Bishop Blade's vision is greately supported by the Pastors and Women's Supervisor Darlene Bartlett Stone
and the leaders of his jurisdiction. Many Pastors, congregations, Community Faith-Based Initatives, and other business
and local groups sponsor youths to make sure they attend the Church Camp.
It has grown from a few youth and adult folks to over 100. What began as a
youth track with less than 10 youth has grown exponentially to one of the finest the Church of God in Christ has too offer.
This idyllic location sets on the shores of Indiana largest natural lake, Lake Webster.
Housing consists of dormitories, houses and an onsite hotel with more than desirable features.
The Retreat has enjoyed some of the finest speakers and presenters in Christendom.
Each day begins with Morning Glory by the lakeside. Daily classes are taught by inspired well
prepared presenters. The afternoon are filled with fun filled activities such as drill teams, outdoor sports activities,
praise dance teams, and sometimes just walking and enjoying the retreat facilities.
Evenings are packed with powerful praise and worship sessions led by Youth Campers.
Speakers feed the attendees from the Word of God and our Lord have never failed to save, inspire or fill participants with
His spirit. Many lives has been changed as a result of the power of our Lord reigning,
